Ken Pavia parts ways with India’s Super Fight League
Tue Sep 11, 2012 8:13 pm
James Goyder wrote a piece recently stating the SFL was in some trouble, having some serious managerial issues. Things just got worse.
Ken Pavia, the CEO of SFL, resigned from his post as the head of the company citing family reasons. In the release, a very brief release, Pavia has been said to chose his family over running the Indian based promotion.
Raj Kundra, the Chairman of the company, stated the promotion will still be holding events, alluding to the point that nothing has changed.
Pavia, if you will recall, came out raging when Goyder posted of maltreatment with one of the SFL’s top fighters recently, as well as the promotions inability to pay some of their fighters. Whether or not the scope of the article was a reason behind Pavia’s sudden resignation is pure speculation.
SFL was touted as one of Asia’s largest fight promotions and has put on a hand full of shows to date. Things have grown a bit quiet, as of late, and news of Pavia’s departure only furthers speculation that there could be more behind the curtain.

Agree, SFL has some legit fighters but ONE is a far better promotion.CDF47 wrote:I hope all their fighters go to ONE FC.
