Showtime Boxing : Danny Garcia vs. Erik Morales II - Paul Malignaggi, Pablo Cesar Cano, Hassan

This card is STACKED. GBP have been really taking it to another level lately. This is a PPV quality card on "free" TV.

Morales chose to use the rematch clause that was in the contract for the first fight. I don't really have too much of a problem with it: Garcia-Morales I was a very close fight, even if the official (bs) scorecards didn't reflect it - I had it 114-113 Garcia - and Morales was coming off surgery, which was why he lost his WBC title on the scales (he should never have been champion anyway, but that's a whole other issue). Also, Khan-Garcia had a terrible gate - GBP actually lost money on it - and Morales is always going to bring people in. It's also a PR-Mexico clash in Brooklyn, which has a high PR population. This event will do really well, and I don't have much of a problem with a rematch right now, as long as Matthysse gets his mandatory shot next.

True, but i just think that isn't a right time for the rematch. Garcia is the #1 Jr. Welterweight and Morales did nothing to deserve a shot vs the #1 guy (despite being a legend), 140 is a deep division and would have more interesting fights. Bute have a rematch clause vs Froch, but will wait and win another fight and earn the rematch. This card is so deep and will be on Brooklyn, so they would sell a lot of ticktes anyway.
