Cage Warriors 49 lineup finalized with Long-Redmond, watch live on MMAjunkie.com

A main-card bout between Lewis Long (6-1) and Paul Redmond (4-3) is the final addition to this month's Cage Warriors 49 lineup.

The event now boasts 11 bouts, including a Bruno Carvalho vs. Cathal Pendred headliner and a women's flyweight title fight between Sheila Gaff and Rosi Sexton.

Cage Warriors 49 takes place Oct. 27 at St David's Hall in Cardiff, Wales. The main card streams on MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com), and Facebook carries the prelims.

To round out the six-bout main card, officials promoted a lightweight bout between Merv Mulholland (9-4) and Daniel Thomas (19-8-1) from the prelims.

Long, a Welsh fighter, makes his promotional debut on the strength of a four-fight win streak that included wins over Diego Vital (32-second TKO) and Cage Warriors veteran Jacek Toczydlowski. He takes on Redmond, an Irish fighter who knocked out Yuri Malko in his recent Cage Warriors debut. His past three wins have come via strikes.

Mulholland, meanwhile, searches for his fifth win in six fights. The Irishman, who has nine stoppages in nine career wins, most recently submitted Amir Gerandokov at Cage Warriors Fight Night 2. He meets the experienced Thomas, who recently ended a three-fight winless (0-2-1) streak with a submission victory over Nayeb Hezam. The Welsh fighter was on an eight-fight win streak before the skid.
