Sounded like a fun event.

Heard they were already setting up a grand prix for either January or February.

I like their rules, I had some complaints about the judging at first but it's tricky any way so no need to reiterate. It was really cool to see 10 minute first rounds again, especially when you see the finishes occurring within the 5 to 10 minute section of the round.

According to the numbers from Esporte Interativo, they had about 3.5 million people watching Mestres do combate. 2.2 million at the live event and 1.3 at the re run of the show.
