UFA 2 IN XI’AN, CHINA RESULTS

Ultimate Fighting Alliance (UFA) held its second event on November 24, 2012 in Xi’an, China. The fledgling Chinese promotion is taking big steps to unite many MMA gyms in China and provide a quality event for fighters to gain experience. Xi’an has been a hotbed of MMA in China and with UFA hopefully hosting regular events, international promotions should be looking towards the results if they want to comprehend the depth of MMA development in the country. Ultimately, these young and hungry athletes from an expanding talent pool will be the future of the sport both domestically and potentially abroad.
1.Teng Li Ge defeats Xu Bin Bin by triangle choke.
At the beginning of the match, both fighters were too cautious to engage, then Teng Li Ge struggled to take Xu down, and started to pummel his head fiercely. Finally, after three minutes, Teng Li Ge was able to get a triangle troke, and Xu Bin Bin was forced to tap or he would pass out.
2.Lu Jian Bo defeats Liu Jing Peng by TKO.
Before the start of the match, each fighter was showing confidence to defeat the other as soon as possible. And indeed their fighting was absolutely fierce, they quickly went to the ground and it was tough to recognize who held superiority. In the second round, Liu Jing Peng was gassed and his attack lacked aggression. By contrast, Lu Jian Bo became more excited, his powerful combinations busted open Liu’s face, making him bleed and finally knocking him out.
3.Zhao Zhi Kang defeats Cheng Hong Gang by Rear Naked Choke.
Their fight is really short because Zhao Zhi Kang is able to get a rear naked choke in almost one minute.
4.Hong Hu He defeats Wang Qi Shan by KO.
It is extremely amazing that this fight only lasts 15 seconds. Therefore, all the journalists had little time to take pictures. The enthusiasm of the audience was entirely lit up by Hong’s powerful knock out.
5.Xu Yi Gang defeats Wu Yue by armbar.
Xu is 45 years old, the oldest fighter I have ever seen. Conversely, his opponent is 18 years old – 27 years younger than Xu! Theoretically, Xu should have difficulty to win due to his age. But he continued to attack in an aggressive way and quickly overcame Wu.
6.Yi De Er defeats Wang Lei by TKO.
Yi De Er held a large superiority at the beginning, he used successive combinations to attack Wang on the ground. Wang was only being hit and cannot counterattack, so the referee stopped the fight after two minutes.
7.Ye Er Sen defeats Cheng Ying Lei by TKO.
As the fighting started, Ye Er Sen had a great advantage over his opponent. Cheng had no chance to counterattack and his nose was broken by a huge right. Cheng could not continue for very long and finally succumbed to Ye’s onslaught.
8.Niu Yu Pu defeats Zhang Di by decision.
Niu and Zhang are both tall and strong, their match is fierce and determining the victor seems difficult. Although they can’t find the weakness of each other, they try to seize every opportunity to win. At the end of 3 rounds, Niu won by points, however, Zhang was not satisfied with the result. He believed he is bound to win a rematch.
9.Dong Xin defeats Ar Ri Si Len by TKO.
It is the second time for Ar Ri Si Len to fight in UFA, but he still cannot gain victory this time. Dong Xin grasped the opportunity to take down his opponent, then he made use of his great strength to confine him. With a huge advantage on the ground, Dong beat his opponent easily and the audience applauded wildly.
