SuperKombat WGP 2012 Final Promo Video

SuperKombat's final event of the year takes place on this Saturday, December 22, and SuperKomat's partnership with K-1 has resulted in "K-1 presents SuperKombat World Grand Prix 2012 Final." The event takes place in Bucharest, Romania at the Polyvalent Hall and features some SuperKombat's year-end four man, one night tournament with Ismael Londt, Sebastian Ciobanu, Benjamin Adegbuyi and Pavel Zhuravlev. As well as the tournament, there are three super fights and one fight for SuperKombat's new 95kg world title, with Andrei Stoica fighting Arnold Oborotov. Full fight card here.

One of the bigger tournaments of the year will wind down this weekend as SuperKombat, in association with K-1, will be bringing to the world the SuperKombat World Grand Prix Finals. We've seen SuperKombat throughout the year host a series of preliminary tournaments and this is the Finals, where the winner receives not only bragging rights to winning one of hte bigger Heavyweight tournaments of the year, but a nice sum of money and a new Mitsubishi. Last year's winner, Sergei Laschenko, will not be in the proper tournament this year, but is a reserve fighter.

Pavel Zhuravlov Possibly Out, Bet on SK Fights

With just one day to go until the SuperKombat World Grand Prix Finals fans across the globe are getting excited, as they should. It is SuperKombat's biggest show of the year and features the culmination of a year's worth of work for the promotion, building up their own brand of World Grand Prix. Of course, they have the K-1 brand backing them for this show as well and have put together a great card of fights.
