one fc february full fight card...

dont get me wrong im watching this event and the title fights are nice but....

im going to be honest, for a guy(victor cui) to be talking so much shit about one being the ufc of asia and them been bigger than pride, this card is disappointing, weak card all around....my humble opinion here but im judging one fc to the level their ceo has put them, and they are not what he claims they are...

As stated before Cui has a large mouth.

This had potential, because there are a ton of entertaining names on there. But it just reeks of desperately sending the Malaysian crowd home happy. Most, if not all, of the Malays are in very winnable fights. While that's cool and all, those type of fights shouldn't be filling the card of the arguably most prominent Asian promotion. These fights, at least most of them, belong as openers.

The main event and Co main event are simply fantastic but the rest is extremely underwhelming. The superfights aren't quite super, the Malaysian grand prix is a cool idea but putting the two best fighters together is stupid, the final bantamweights quarterfinal not having Imanari is incredibly ridiculous.

I'm just hoping the next card will be stacked.

I was extremely impressed by Adam Kayoom in his last bout against Gregor Gracie back at ONE FC 4, I've been waiting to see this guy again. I don't know anything about Kojima's opponent so I'm going to say he'll beast on that other guy. Kelly should win the FW strap, I've been nothing but impressed by that guy.

I'm excited to see some new fighters, you can't expect every card to be full of familiar names.

Looks good but lacks the bigger names. Did he say they´re bigger than PRIDE? He must have meant ONE is the biggest asian promotion right now and that was true when DREAM closed down.

I might be off base here, but I kind of hope Glory/DREAM are the new pride not ONEFC.

Me too.

The last two fights are great and I like the regional championships. The combination of GLORY/DREAM & ONE FC working together will be a force in the future I think. Once the GLORY fighters start stepping into the ONE FC cage it will be huge for ONE FC. Not their best card but still really looking forward to it as they continue to crown champs.

i agree with you my friend and my concern is that the last few shows lacks the big draws, no big names, no international stars and if you call yourself the best, you have to come throw as is and i dont see that on one fc, you push back your november event and in february this is the best you can do???? fuck no

Kayoom has a rough first round but maintains composition (Hume refs this bout perfectly as well) to make impressive comeback with never ending work and counters combined with following his corner's instructions to win the decision over the younger Gracie.

Agreed, but I also like ONE FC and the ONE FC Network. I like how GLORY, DREAM, and ONE will be sharing fighters to get them more fights. If DREAM runs 5 - 7 shows in 2013 and ONE runs 8, that's a combined 13 - 15 shows to keep their fighters busy plus URCC, ROAD FC, and CFC.

I thought Kayoom deserved a better opponent coming off of that. I can't fault them for wanting to take it slow with the guy though.

I couldn't care less if anything ever became the next Pride, much less reach the exact level of it. It's just a very unrealistic dream (no pun intended) to have as of now. It's one of those capturing lighting in a bottle ordeals, honestly.

I don't know if i'll go as far as to say Kojima will beast on Docyogen. I thought he would do the same to Nam Jin Jo and that turned out to be the complete opposite. Docyogen is a very dangerous opponent and is the exact guy to take advantage of Kojima's inconsistencies.

Needless to say, if Kojima takes this seriously, he should dominate. If he gets a case of the MACH, Docyogen could finally get that name victory in emphatic fashion.

I gotta agree with the majority of the forum with this one. Im gonna watch this card, but this is one is mediocre. Still waiting for Eddie Ng's return
