@2:49 on... All UFC'ers unable to TD a single-leg remaining pogo hopping opponent shoould watch this video ONE MILLION TIMES.
Sadly that will never happen though because you can't learn this stuff from a guy in Albequrque or Las Vegas that knows 2 TD techniques the got on a card in a box of crackerjacks.
There is no super-duper-extra-ordinary-unbelievable TD defense in MMA, Grappling, BJJ, Wrstling, etc... Their is just unidimensional TD's capabilities and poor or lacking TD technique. If there was, all of the greatest Judo & BBJ players or wrestlers would've never got taken down.
Post-PRIDE MMA = The New Evolved MMA/New Breed Better Skilled MMA
The New Evolved MMA/New Breed Better Skilled MMA = Poor/Bad boxing + non-international level mediocre wrestling + some world top-tier BJJ level + bad class kickboxing + just about non-world class or great anything
Sad things have changed that much on the sports very short lifetime.

Everything Saku showed is pretty basic wrestling. I guarantee you anyone who's wrestled for more than a year could demonstrate those techniques. Easier said than done to pull it off on a resisting opponent. You really can't say that MMA has devolved in terms of technique since pride, considering literally half the Pride roster consisted of one dimensional guys.

I'm not sure if your getting my point...
The level of skill & technique for each individual aspect of MMA... EACH ONE has dropped of drastically with the 'new breed'. There is almost no comparison in striking.
1. Which of the new breed has better Judo type/related TD's than, Yoshida, Ogawa, or Fedor?
Olympic Gold Medalist
Olympic Silver Medalist
Russian National Olympic Team Member
2. Which of the new breed has better boxing/kickboxing than Schilt, Hunt, or Crocop?
4X K-1 World Grand Prix Champion (GOAT)
K-1 World Grand Prix Runner Up, (19-7 K-1 big league)
K-1 World Grand Prix Champion, K-1 World Grand Prix 3rd Place, (30-13 K-1 big league)
How about Igor? Yikes!
3. Which of the new breed has better submission grappling than Arona, Werdum, or Rickson Gracie?
3X ADCC World Champion (13-0 undefeated, never had a single point scored against, all records)
2X World BJJ Champion, 2X ADCC World Champion
GOAT BJJ player - Widely held by his piers-today's BJJ stars (no BJJ world's/ADCC's yet during his time)
4. Which of the new breed has better wresling than Coleman, Henderson, or Kerr?
Olympian Team USA Freestyle Wrestling, NCAA Div 1 National Champion
2X Olympian Team USA Greco-Roma Wrestling
2X NCAA Div 1 National Champion, 12-1 ADCC (only loss to Arona)
How about Sakuraba? Yikes!
5. World Champion-level BJJ is still well-represented.
I honestly don't care to watch top 'new breed' guys today that have mid-no level world-class technique in most any aspects of MMA. The technical level of MMA fighting has all but fallen of the face of the earth in the UFC-era and in the North America. That comes from recruiting guys off the street/trailer park who audition for a realty TV show. Don't go talking about no scrubs that may have fought in PRIDE. To give credit where credit is due there are many Brazilians that today have world-class submission grappling skill. Not so much anything else with the rest of the new breed though.
I don't wanna watch the 'new-breed'... "Jack Of Not Many Trades... Master Of None Fighting Championships" (JONMTMOFNFC) anymore.
