I really don't know. Newton moved really well last night and threw all kinds of great combos. Zayats will come into the fight hungry, though.

a saw it on the ug and tapology from a guy that always breaks legit fight news. Apparently they really don't like each other. I never heard about a beef but i guess they have one.

Hey guys! this is a good fight- karo has won his last 2 fights. looked decent. I think injuries and losing the passion for fighting he hasnt looked the same.

I believe theres beef from what a friend tells me is that karo and hawn have met 2 times against each other in Judo competition (U.S Open)

I think they may have trained together also

I'm honestly sick of seeing Liguori on these cards lol.

Hotcher/Nover and Jimmie Rivera fighting are nice additions to the undercard though.

Thoses guys are nice addition to the card if they do well the move up within the bellator ranks. Thats what so good with bellator and what they are doing with their brand of mma.

Hotcher/Nover winner and Jimmie Rivera are both primed to be in their respective divisions next tournament, for sure.

Going with Curran and then Shah to take the title.

Im not sure who I should pick Curran should take this but Straus looks hungry and has been on a roll since he one the season 6 featherweight tournament.

Broken hand cancels Daniel Straus' title fight with Pat Curran at Bellator 95

A long wait is about to get longer for Bellator's Season 6 featherweight tournament winner, Daniel Straus.

Straus (21-4 MMA, 7-1 BFC) broke his hand during a training session and has been forced to withdraw from a title fight against featherweight champion Pat Curran (18-4 MMA, 8-1 BFC) at Bellator 95, which takes place April 4 at Revel Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, N.J.

Multiple sources close to the event passed along the news to MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). A replacement search is currently underway for Straus, who most recently appeared this past October in a non-tourney fight.

Facing UFC vet Alvin Robinson, Straus earned a second-round submission win. The Cincinnati native, who now works with American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Fla., expressed a desire to keep busy as a queue of contenders lined up for Curran's title.

The line again got moving this past month when Curran defended his title with a win over Patricio "Pitbull" Freire at Bellator 85.

It's not the first time injuries have delayed the featherweight division. Curran suffered a broken orbital bone that delayed his meeting with Freire.

A standout wrestler, Straus made it to the finals of Bellator's Season 4 tournament before losing to Freire. He then entered the Season 6 competition and beat Jeremy Spoon, Mike Corey and Marlon Sandro to win the competition and claim a $100,000 payout.
