Rick Hawn prepares for Karo Parisyan, interview
Fri Mar 29, 2013 3:10 am
What can fans expect from you on April 4th vs. Karo Parisyan
“Everyone should expect a great fight between two good judo guys. Expect a lot of clinch, a lot of ground work, and we’ll see where the fight takes us. I’m jacked for this one, and so should everyone else”
You had the chance to fight on the Spike premier, and now will be closing out the season on Spike. Thoughts on fighting two times during the season?
“It’s great to fight so soon, I got right back in the gym and kept training, feel great, worked on a lot of things. I really feel I have come back stronger and better in all areas, and this is the start of a new run for me.”
Thoughts on training at the world famous TriStar gym in Montreal?
“Training up here is has been great. Lots of great fighters up here that are always staying active, including fellow Bellator warrior Brian Rogers. I couldn’t ask for a better camp to be behind me. I get to train with the best every day, and it brings the best out of me.”
Being from the East Coast, how excited are you to get the chance to fight in Atlantic City?
“Very excited. I really wanted to get on this card. I have a lot of East Coast roots, so this is really a home court advantage for me, and I can’t wait to give the fans a show April 4th. “
