Colin Fletcher announces his UFC release...

The first cut casualty of UFC 158 has been announced. Lightweight Colin Fletcher announced on Twitter that he's been released from the UFC after just two fights.

Fletcher (8-3) fought for the UK on the first ever season of TUF: The Smashes, which pitted UK fighters against Australian fighters in the 155 and 170 lbs divisions. He advanced all the way to the finals against fellow Brit Norman Parke, but Parke ended up winning both the fight and the TUF title. Fletcher still earned a main card spot at UFC 158 against TUF 16 runner-up Mike Ricci, but again came up on the wrong end of a unanimous decision.
