Sakuraba got his arm destroyed in a pro wrestling match...

Wandering into Sakuraba injury news is never a good wake-up, but MMACritic brought to my attention that the dear old Gracie Hunter had his arm broken last weekend in a pro wrestling match against Yuji Nagata (that guy that got fed to CC and Fedor) while competing as a tag team with Katsuyori Shibata.

Saku competes for New Japan Pro Wrestling these days and they say that he will be out 2-3 months recovering. At least he’s not getting his face punched in anymore but does he really have any business getting thrown around in pro wrestling anyway? Regardless – get well soon, Saku

I can't bare the shitty writing, but that sucks, for Sakuraba, who is an absolute legend and my favorite fighter not named Fedor Emelianenko.

It looks bad. I'm no doctor, I hope that he gets fixed up and recovers fully.

I honestly don't know what he was thinking trying to break the fall like that.

That was nasty. Saku is one of my all time favorite fighters and it pains me to see him continue to put his body through further damage.

I'm in favor of him pro wrestling. It gives him a release, perhaps. I just don't want to watch him take punches anymore.

A friend of a friend is actually friends with Sakuraba. I've always wanted to meet him. I hope to one day do so.
