Quarter Final Results Roundup From The Malaysian Invasion Amateur Tournament

Malaysian Invasion is probably the biggest amateur MMA tournament in history and 54 fighters tasted action at the Paradigm Mall in Kuala Lumpur last weekend in the quarter finals.

Sponsored by Tune Talk this amateur competition attracted over 500 entrants with the field narrowed down after first a trial and then two rounds of fights.

There are now only four fighters left in each division with the semi finals set to take place next month and the finals scheduled for June.

Among the winners were Zeus Lim who won a hard fought decision victory over experienced boxer Muhammad Ejaaz in the lightweight division and Adrian Tham who caught Mohd Zulhanizam with a triangle choke in the third round of their fight.

Keanu Subba, brother of ONE FC flyweight Gianni, also booked his spot in the semi finals of the featherweight tournament with a rear naked choke win over Wan Hassan.
