Doo Ho Choi will meet Shoji Maruyama at Cage Impact + Ryuta Sakurai & Kikuno

The 10-1 phenom they call Doo Ho Choi has an opponent lined up for June 15th’s DEEP Cage Impact, no, it’s not a title match with Kazunori Yokota. The Korean Superboy will face 12-8 slugger Shoji Maruyama. Choi has more than earned himself a title shot, but perhaps the high likelihood of UFC signing Choi away sometime soon has made DEEP officials hesitant.

Also booked is the return of the legendary Ryuta Sakurai, as he takes on do or die, KO master Yuji Sakuragi. And Katsunori Kikuno will face a TBA opponent.
