I rather have a draw than a close decision that goes to the wrong fighter. There are tons of fights that should have gone the other way.

Wow lots of decisions and a draw kinda sucks but they are still getting better each show was fun to watch.

I think draws suck I agree why not go another round if mma on a whole would get there shit together and make judges pass a mma equivalency test to be licensed to judge instead of randomly assigned boxing judges learning as they go we wouldn't have as many bad decisions.

Also I feel draws are bad or worse fir both guys then someone losing a close fight that could have went either way.

It´s more fair to have a draw than to make one fighter happy who doesn´t deserve it while the other fighter gets a loss on his record.

But career wise draws tend to reflect an inability to finish or a more negative stigma then losing a close fought battle.

I don't agree with this whatsoever. The inability to finish shouldn't be a demerit. Some people are either not powerful or skilled enough to finish or some guys are just impossible to finish. It doesn't necessarily mean you're a bad fighter.

There's not a negative stigma to it whatsoever. It happens more in Japan because judges are much more liberal with giving out 10-10 round, something that is extremely underutilized in North America. Some organizations like ZST will just rule an automatic draw if a finish hasn't been made in three rounds...

I understand that pov I just feel the initial intent of mma was for finishes decisions and draws are just consequence of inability to finish if they had another round or m-1 rules I don't think there would be as many drawd

So every close fight should have an extra round? I think all promotions should use draws when there´s no clear cut winner except for titlefights.

you can have a clear winner in a close fight. you can have a 30-27 in a close fight. if its to close to give it to a winner Extra Round. i dont see why not

I do think there should be a winner to each fight and if a fight is judged a draw after 3 rounds or whatever why not have a sudden death round?

Fights were meant to be finished prove who is better decisions are bad enough in this day and age draws are unacceptable IMO.
