silva 2 to 1 favorite in rematch

Lmfao really not surprised....
Its already a buzz about the Silva weidman rematch and you guessed it Silva is already a 2to1 favorite.
Strange considering he was FINISHED and in only the 2 nd round.
Its not like Silva got caught after beating weidmans ass weidman won round 1 and this the 2 nd was closer before the ko weidman was still ahead on signifigant strikes.
Honestly I think Silva will be more humble second time around but it doesn't matter weidman will still beat him again.
He didn't even have Serra in his corner next fight weidmans coming in uber confident and knowing He has the tools to win anyway he so chooses.

Weidman looked like the better fighter. I would say the rematch is 50/50

dont why this would surprise anyone. GSP/Serra 2 GSP was the fav, if AO/BF happened again AO would be the fav. if Fedor rematched Werdum right away Fedor would be the Fav
1 thing in common in all those fights the better fighter lost and won/would win a rematch

Except Serra's win was a total fluke and everybody knew it. Losing to unranked, blown-up LW by TKO in a round is a lot more embarrassing than losing to the #1 ranked MW (granted Anderson's antics helped level the level of egg-on-face).
Anyway, it's not surprising to me. 95% of the MMA media & fans think Anderson only lost because he clowned around.

GSP was likely more than a 2-to-1 favourite over Serra in the rematch.

I'd go with Silva in the rematch but that is not an easy call, especially since Weidman just put a beating on him.

I stand by saying that on any given night, I believe either fighter could beat the other if both are 100%. Stylistically this fight is favorable for Weidman, but Silva will always be Silva and he will always be capable of beating anybody. However, I feel as though that Weidman has more tools to beat Silva than Silva has to beat Weidman. I just hope for Weidman's sake that he doesn't think he is a top tier striker now because he landed on Silva when Silva was using his flashy headmovement.

Probably is a coin toss but if Weidman controls Silva every round like he did in RN 1, then he will win by decision the next time around.

Not surprised.Siva's earned that right plus every Tom dick and Harry has convinced themselves Anderson lost the the fight more than Weidman won it . Anderson could certainly pull it off but I think Weidman is legit and takes a decision...

Its funny everyone is on the same boat 2nd go round I see Silva being more respectful LOL and I see weidman taking him down and taking his time
More but I actually think he will finish him again but by submission in the 2 or 3.
I think its foolish and disrespectful to overlook how great weidman fought its being overshadowed by Silva's supposed slipup lmfao.
1) weidman fought great he didn't give Silva anything to work with I think Silva came in worried tis fight why he was talking and taunting trying to get weidman to open up.
Weidman never rushed forward or pushed too much, he got a takedown and actually went for a finish didn't ride it safely out.also Matt Serra wasn't evening his corner still fought great super impressed.
2)Silva fought the EXACT fight he always does as far as bobbing weaving hand dropping BS.he just finally net a Guy who wasn't scared and didn't allow Silva to counter strike or get in his head.

Yeah, betting wise with those odds after he just beat him, not too bad.
