Bellator finally steals Slava from M-1

Koreshkov is a teammate of Shlemenko and Alexander Sarnavskiy. This is
what a Bloody Elbow contributor reported about Sarnavskiy's current
contract situation and near future plans:"I can tell you that
Sarnavskiy's current contract with M-1 Global expires at month's end,
and Zuffa/Bellator are known to have interest so he's expected to test
the free agent waters. Given what I know, I'd say he'll be the most
coveted free agent prospect since Edson Barboza. I don't know which org
will get him; it may simply come down to who makes the most attractive
offer." Bellator has maintained one opening for their LW tourney starting in March.

If there was a good promotion over here with a ring and non-unified rules I would say great, foreign fighters deserve to make the best money they can. But, these super-talented former Soviet striker/kickboxer/submission-grapplers are going to be poisoned by the fucking shitty lay or pin/never try to submit or finish fucking North A-fucking-merican fucking-fighting style. it would be interesting if all these Russians and M-1 fighters starts dominating all these Zuffa and American fighters. This would just show that Zuffa NEVER had the best fighters to begin with M-1 had the NEW BREEDS all along.

I think the wrestler-biased "lay or pin/never try to submit or finish" rules and resulting terrible fighting style will be stifling a bit for them. Just as it has been for the Asian guys over here. Not saying that some will 'not' dominate but the rules and the cage are stacked somewhat against them.

The other HUGE thing is weight-cutting. What does being the best weight-cutter have to do with being the best fighter??? Nothing! It's really a joke IMO. Is weight-cutting a fighting skill that can determine a match. It's also really affecting the quality of the fights over here as well as we see from all the gas-out-fests. Weigh them before the fight like the Olympics. They weigh athletes regularly for the duration of time they are still in the competition. It's by far the only fair & equitable thing to do. It's about opponents weighing within the same weight-class at the time of the contest. That is a fair and even playing field. What we have going on here now is a joke.
