People including myself are posting comments on the video threads which don't get replies because the video's get tucked away in the video library quite quickly. I'd say they should stay on the main MMA discussion forum for maybe a week.

I agree but at the same time visitors who go to the videos section to watch the latest fights can´t find what they´re looking for.

Is there a way for one thread to appear in two sections? Like, make a thread in the videos area but have it also appear in the MMA section as a duplicate that just links back to the videos forum thread itself?

Yes if there is one post or more after the op you can leave a shadow in the first section it was posted.
