I think this fight will be fun if volkov can stop the td he might be able to keep him at kick range but minakov is stronger could ko or sub him .
In not really too invested in who wins more how each Guy performs.
Minakov IMO has shown holes the kind volkov could expose with good Kickboxing so I'd like to see what style gameplan minakov uses.
For volkov obviously facing a Guy with ko power is a test in itself but more so facing a Guy who on paper should have no problem out grappling him.I'd like to see if he can shrug some tds and if taken down nit just be content trying to strike from bottom but be active and move hips to get up.
Should be great

Tiger/Brooks and Volkov/Minakov. This is probably my favorite Bellator card on paper all year.

Good move on Bellator's part. Shlemenko/Marshall is probably the more interesting fight out of the two given Marshall's impressive run in Season Eight and Shlemenko being one of Bellator's poster guys.
I don't care who wins the LW Tournament as I'm a fan of both.
Love these prelims. Ivanov, Page, Yamauchi, and Jenkins. Hope they all win. Hope Jenkins learned a lot since his loss.

A welterweight clash between Riddle and veteran Nathan Coy, scheduled for next week's Bellator 109 in Riddle's hometown of Bethlehem, Pa., is now off, Coy told Bloody Elbow on Wednesday afternoon.
"He bailed out. I'm not happy about it," Coy said.
Coy, who is healthy and ready to go, was not told why the bout, which was scheduled to be a part of the evening's televised card, was scrapped.
"As far as I know, maybe he was sick and didn't get the proper training in. I'd love to have him in the first round of the tournament and smash him up," Coy said. "Maybe he wants to put it off. I'll fight him no problem. If he wants to wait until he can be better another day, I'm fine with that. Just make sure you man up and fight that day. I don't know what he's trying to accomplish here by playing games. This is my livelihood. I'm supporting my family by doing this. I needed this opportunity like he needed this opportunity. It's his hometown. What the hell's going on? He should be thrilled to fight on that card. Apparently not. Apparently he doesn't want that."
Coy said the winner of the bout was going to be in the Season 10 welterweight tournament, which will start this winter. However, Coy said Bellator told him he will be included in that tournament

I'm feeling like schlemenko maybe overlooking Marshall.......don't be surprised if Marshall catches him and drops him.
Yeah I realize its a long shot but I just feel like rhino is getting overlooked.

Marshall can definitely catch Shlemenko with something big if Shlemenko is unfocused. Hell, Shlemenko got careless a couple times against the C-level Brett Cooper and nearly paid for it. Marshall has a bigger punch. I really hope it doesn't happen. It would make me fucking puke. War the Russians!

If Jordan Radev can put Shlemenko's lights out, there's no reason Marshall can't.
Don't get me wrong, I think Shlemenko is tremendously talented but he's far too sloppy at times and his striking defense isn't the greatest and there's only so long someone can maintain winning with.that style.

I'm not sure if Shlemenko is overlooking Marshall. If anything, Marshall sounds like it's all but confirmed he'll win. I think Shlemenko wins. Marshall is a one punch guy mostly so Shlemenko should know to avoid that right hand. Also, Marshall broke his hand twice this year. I'm pulling for Storm, personally.
Love the prelims. Nice to see Jenkins return to the win column. Yamauchi looked great. It's a shame he came in overweight since that performance could've guaranteed him a season ten tournament entry. Great to see Ivanov get the win. The fight was scary as Bell got Ivanov in trouble. Kudos to Bell for being game but great to see Ivanov come back and show he doesn't wilt.
