Nice...Johnson looks pretty solid and has some good wins on his record. Going with Johnson by KO.

I'll admit, I'm a fan of heavyweights so I like that ONE FC is trying to beef up their heavyweight roster.

^HW is best division in MMA IMO, followed by LHW and MW. As weight class goes up so do the finishes.

It is true that finishes increase as weight class goes up. There have been articles with the statistics proving this and it goes up quite a bit. That's the main reason I prefer the heavier weight classes but I like all the divisions.adam wrote:Disagreed entirely.CDF47 wrote:^HW is best division in MMA IMO, followed by LHW and MW. Finishes are more likely but I think overall action and technique gets better the lower the weight.
Kickboxing is very evident of this.

I agree somewhat on finishes. I guess there are more knockouts, I don't know about overall finishes though. Haven't tried to look up numbers on that because I think it'd be hard.
I guess I shouldn't had said I disagreed "entirely" but it's one of the shallowest divisions IMO.
I even find myself just flat out skipping HW fights unless it's a fighter I really want to see or someone I know who has more than a round of gas.

Overall that is true but there are some very skilled HWs out there as well.wekka wrote:Finishes are more likely but I think overall action and technique gets better the lower the weight.

I do like all the divisions but just really prefer to see a finish to a fight. There are many great fights that go to decision but in general I love to see a finish to a fight and HW is where it's at for that.

Hw owns man
Hws are biggest baddest dudes on the planet the world HW belt is the most prized and historicaly rich belt in any combat sport.
Plus plenty of heavies have good tanks and I've seen worse slopfests in mw and lhw LOL.
Honestly I skip a lot of flyweight fights just no power like little kids fighting yeah great pace and technique but mma is for finishes not point fighting.
