Great fight even though it wasnt as action packed, it was very much more on the technical side. Sometimes I prefer this more.

Good fight but for some reason I couldnt get too excited about it, all I wanted was the Fedor fight.

This fight was great. Finally after paying so many dues Weichel wins a world title. Lightweight is clearly a better division for him. Figuroa will be back, he is super young and at a good camp..

i agree with you brace, Figuroa will learn form this loss and will be back in no time. this was a solid win for Weichel, he's been the sport for more than a minute now and has fought some tough names. he should fight Mairbek Taisumov next or maybe even a rematch with Ivlev. whoever is healthy, i just hope to see Weichel fight again soon.

It's kinda different too see. The Germans have never done very well in Russia.

I think this is the only German champ in a big promotion right now. I wish Sweden had a champ to.
