ufc get backlash 4 ppv price cost
Sat Dec 07, 2013 3:29 am
ufc is raising the price when on Silva match on Dec. ufc fan on the mma media site like UG, Sherdog, other site start to complain about the price.
ufc cause a angry mob on underground user bec of the ppv price.
here comment from ufc fan who are fuck piss off.
So we have more PPV's than ever, an additional $15 per month to see overseas cards, now raised PPV prices on top. How much expendable income do they think people have? Damn
UFC PPV's are a COMPLETE RIPOFF these days.
$50-$65 for a watered down card filled with slow unathletic no name nobodies, uncoordinated dykey looking women, tiny 125-140lb dudes, TUF rejects, I mean "stars", and incredibly shitty judging ???
NO...I don't think so. let the current generation raised on TUF docuhery, watered down UFC's, and Dana's mouth pay for that crap....I came from a time where we paid $30 for INCREDIBLY stacked cards....When shows like PRIDE delivered INSANE cards for $3o.
nearly $70 for this garbage ???
LOL
The cards have gotten worse overall. They have a chance to regain a big number of PPV buyers when they launch the digital network --- IF they reduce the price to reflect the higher number of cards and the lessening of talent per card.
But, it looks like they're going the other direction and trying to fuck everybody even more -- more money for worse content.
I predict this works some overseas but causes more people to flee to streaming sites because of the perceived need to see all the fights at a flat discretionary income level.
Between the cards that will air for the American audience on their paid digital network and ppv prices rising, the UFC is pushing its US audience into piracy.
Predictions:
2014 UFC will see a drastic fall in ratings and PPV buys due to product and prices.....by Q4 of 2014 UFC will start seeing the side-effects of their misguided blueprint as 2014 nears an end the UFC will make one last dash for Cash....bumping up UFC Prices another $10 bucks ....but finally making the super fights the fans wanted years ago.
2015:UFC will really be hit hard financially and will realise their mistake in expanding to rapid and aggressively, the decent and decline is fast and furious like Avalanche of destruction rushing down the hillside.
2016: Ferritas / Dana White and company hit by poor sales/ratings sell UFC and all copyrighted materials to FOX....sail into the sunset.
2017: FOX drops UFC for Midget Hockey.
......ofcourse all this could be avoided if they can make a legit rankings system where fighters dont get title shots based on WWE style Promo cuts, drop PPV prices 5 bucks, and get rid of the 10pt must system and Cecil Peoples.

Pride was about the sport. Start following OneFC. The only way to cripple the UFC death clutch on our beloved sport Is to love OneFC so much that stars start moving there. MMA existed before Zuffa. And it was BETTE |

Both a silly and dumb move. It might earn them a little cash in the short term but it is going to hurt there numbers and reputation in the long run. In the current financial climate i think that this is going to severely impact PPV numbers. People just don't accept that shit anymore. |

Madrugadao Member Since: 5/22/11 Posts: 741 | Causal PPV numbers dropping off, so lets rob the die-hards of more of their money. I get the fights for free and even I can't be bothered with some of them and end up watching just a couple of bouts. I don't see how people can pay hard cash for some of the events they have been putting on. Granted the TUF finale was free but aside from the main event, that was fucking terrible. Some of the cards are so weak now and I have to be honest and say I don't like the thinning out of cards with female fights, I just don't find many entertaining at all. I don't see the appeal of watching people that rarely have the ability to hurt each other, throw sloppy shots (with their eyes closed) for 3 rounds. There are only about 3 women fighters that are worth watching. People complain about guys objectifying female fighters but are we really supposed to be entertained by the skills displayed? |

etafour Member Since: 12/25/12 Posts: 307 | I can pay $50 for NFL Redzone or Sunday Ticket for the entire 17 week season or I can pay $60 for a watered down PPV card... Such a hard decision to figure out the better value there. OR I can pay $20 a month for HBO to watch boxing and get the movie network... Is it just me or is the pay per view pricing absurd before a price hike? Would the NFL, NBA, MLB or NHL be where they are today on a PPV model? I have found myself progressively buying less and less PPVs. This year I only bought 5 (only 1 in the 2nd half of this year). The previous years I bought pretty much every event. |

The fact that they're raising the price just for this one card in paticular shows how full of shit they constantly are. A man is only as good as his word and the words from Zuffa is worth exactly shit. Actually it's worth less than shit since shit can be converted to energy. Way to go Zuffa and Dana, the words you speak are actually worth less than literal shit.
