I don't get some of the criticism of G-MMA rankings surrounding Brazilians. 'Most' all are fighting outside Brazil with the 'most all' the elite fighting in the UFC. Others are fighting all over the world. IMO opinion they are not fighting in Jungle Fight or smaller Brazilian promotions. I could be wrong though.

If the Brazilian fighter ranking critiques are saying that the #70 Brazilian is better than the #1-10 Japanese, or Chechen. or Dagestani, or Russian then that's kinda silly.

This Brazilian situation is a different one than with the Euro/Eastern-Euro/Asian countries. The UFC has focused their recruiting efforts almost exclusively on the USA & Brazil. This has skewed the "best in the world" category way toward those two countries. PRIDE did not do this. Americans a whole did not do as well in PRIDE. Brazilians also had less success in PRIDE than they've had in the UFC.

The UFC has been using a 'non-representative' sampling of fighters from all over the world where MMA is practiced. In market research terms you get bad data coming out when you don't do a 'representative sampling' of an entire targeted population.

I don't get how your comments are supposed to be productive towards getting our rankings correct. So I will ask you specifically what you could share since you aren't taking the initiative to yourself:

Who are the top Brazilian fighters competing right now and what promotions are they in? Can you please write up your top 10(-15) Brazilian fighters for each weight class, since you must know who and where they all are?

What other orgs and fighters do you think should considered then? Do you like the African promotion EFC at all? I think their fighters are underrated and their champs could maybe become ranked.

If Pitbull wins his next fight he'll move ahead of Georgi.

There are some really good Euro fighters.  Look at their success in UFC and Bellator. I think they are deserving of their spot.
