Cage Warriors 66: Churilov vs. Dalby 03.22.14 (Official Discussion)
Sat Mar 01, 2014 7:37 pm
Cage Warriors is making their Scandinavian debut in Denmark at this event and have signed a ton of talent from the region recently including the home town guy Nicolas Dalby, Bellator vet Jack Hermansson, and talented Finnish bantamweight Toni Tauru. Churilov and Dalby are fighting for Cathal Pendreds vacated Weltweight title. Ukrainian Churilov had a 5-0 2013, but the wins were on some more obscure promotions while Dalby earned his CWFC contract with a win over fellow Dane, Morten Djursaa in the EMMA promotion. It's interesting that Churilov has only one loss and it is to Croatian journeyman Ivaca Truscek and Dalby recently got two wins over Truscek.

Dalby is making a name for himself as one of the best Welterweights in Europe. I hope he fights Gael Grimaud next. Grimaud is 9-1 in his last 10 with his only loss coming to former CWFC WW champ, Cathal Pendred. That fight is a no-brainer.
