Monson in a wheelchair

Shiiiiiiiit Fedor messed him up baaaad.

I really like Monson and how he carries himself. Here he talks humbly about the fight and Fedor himself as a fighter. He also talks about how he was cheered by the russian fans as well.


I used to bag on Monson for using those long shorts (which look funny on him for such a short guy) , having an endomorph type of body (this goes beyond having an "outie" lol , a couple other fighters have this ugly type of body for ex. Krystov Schizinski or whatever) and for his pale "wrinkly chicken"skin , but now I'm totally a fan lol.

at this rate, monson has a good 1-2 years left in his MMA career if he continues to take beatings like this

I'll give the dude props, he is tough! I rewatched his fight with Cormier last night as well. It was very similar to the Fedor fight except Cormier got hit a lot more, didn't drop Monson multiple times, and just wasn't as dominate as Fedor was. I think if Fedor fought Werdum, Bigfoot and Henderson more controlled like he did Monson he would have beat all of them.

Jeff Monson is a true sportsman, as is Fedor. This was a pretty brutal fight, but they both conducted themselves admirably.

awesome interview, loved the bit about crowds. Heal well and heal fast, hopefully M1 has more fights lined up for Monson.

A step up in competition and a test for Guram, I don´t think M-1 wants to do this titlefight but I would definitely tune in.
