Maro Perak fought with injured knee: "I'm gonna KO Tybura in a rematch"

Experienced Dubrovnik Gladiator Maro Perak didn't had a career performance at the event M - 1 Challenge 47, where he fought against undefeated Marcin Tybura. But Maro didn't had the ideal preparation for this meeting - we learned this after he returned to Croatia that he had relatively short training camp and almost could not pass worse.

" For this fight I did just seven trainings. I was hurt but did not want to cancel the fight. I was not able to train. "

It's an old injury, which forced him to fight in the FFC  with his knee wrapped. This can be seen in the attached photo.

I'll go on an MRI to see what is state , but I will certainly strengthen in the gym. Medical gym at a friend physiotherapist Stijepo Jarka. There is big chance I will have surgery, will know more at end of week.
I had about 99.6 kg in the last fight I plan to get to 105 but with fulll cardio so that I do not  calculate when to spend more or less energy.

The fight ended in the last round, when Tybura took Maro back and forced the referee to intervention. But Perak points out that not all of these shots were legal.
" I do not know why the referee stopped the match , It would be more logical that referee gave him a yellow card because he beat me by the nape which is forbidden . "

In the end, he added
" Congratulations to Tyburi I appreciate him as an athlete and GP champion, but he was preparing for five rounds  for the fight with Grabowski who had canceled and I flew as a substitute and did only seven trainings for this fight and I am still hurt. Next fight I will be  prepared physically and with body. Next time I will cardio outwork him and KO him.

Learn to call a fight when u can't train..

If u go into a fight injured don't blame the Injury for your performance jeeez pull out its better then putting on a bad showing and blaming It on an injury.

The stoppage in the fight was a bit odd so I wouldn´t mind a rematch later on. Next Perak should meet Garner or Gluhov to prove he deserves another crack at Tybura.
