Astana will host Asian Championships mixed martial arts WMMAA. The competition is already included in the national and international calendar plans of Kazakhstan.

Final tournament will take place at the arena sports complex "Kazakhstan". Negotiations are under way in conjunction with the finale and the first in the history of professional international tournament M-1 Challenge.

The Battle between Denis Smoldarev and Konstantin Gluhov will headline the M-1 Challenge 48

The fight who was suppose to take place in August last year at M-1 Challenge 41 Battle on the Neva River, but a knee injury of Denis Smoldarev (Mamishev Team), 6-0 ahead of the semi-finals of the M-1 Grand Prix 2013 is not allowed for this fight then. May 24 in Astana at M-1 Challenge 48 his confrontation with konstantin Glukhov (Alfa Group, Latvia), 28-14 will be held

This will be a tough test for Smoldarev, the fight can go either way. They mixed up Denis Komkin and Smoldarev in the picture.

They announced another fight for the event, The young german Max coga will face the young Russian and M-1 vet Maxim Divnich.

The last fight of Coga against  top prospect from sweden Nicklas Backstrom did not finish very well for him.

Gluhov is always fun to watch, I'll be rooting for him.

For his age, Smoldarev already looks SO DAMN GOOD. Im hoping for and expecting domination on his behalf.

I wish we had more M-1 fans in here. Gluhov vs Smoldarev is a cooler matchup than 90% of the UFC fights.

Gluhov is out of M-1 Challenge 48, M-1 is looking for replacement.

M-1 should have TBA in every main event, because that's all that's been happening this year.
