Ufc rankings have been known to hold little value but it's all but apparent they are just for show....

Keep in mind rankings are decided by media outlets so its pretty open to debate to begin with but this is ridiculous ....

Mma veteran and long time thought of as one of the top 3 lws in the entire sport debuts not even in the top 5 not close to top 10 damn near didn't make the rankings.

The G-MMA Rankings is the only legit ranking according to the experts.

The UFC rankings mean nothing. They haven't meant anything since UFC cut Okami and Shields while they were on there.

So why would you match up the fourteenth best guy with someone in the top five?

If you don't know how to implement rankings into matchmaking, then don't bother with rankings at all.

Also I read an interview where Eddie says hes more interested in a fight with Gilbert Melendez then a title shot against pettis.

I'd like either fight to happen and God willing Gilbert will beat pettis and physically take the belt that was robbed from him in the bendo decision.then Eddie beats cowboy and ufc make that fight happen.
