GLORY 33 New Jersey is headlined by heavyweight kingpin Rico “The Prince of Kickboxing” Verhoeven (48-10-1, 12 KO) of the Netherlands defending his GLORY World Championship for a record fifth time.

His opponent, who was victorious earlier tonight at GLORY 32 Super Fight Series in Virginia, will be Brazilian veteran Anderson "Braddock" Silva (40-14-1, 25 KO). The bout will be Silva's first attempt at capturing GLORY gold since debuting for the organization in 2012.

Atop the GLORY 33 SuperFight Series card,  is a middleweight title tilt between reigning GLORY World Champion Simon"Bad Bwoy" Marcus (44-2-2, 24 KO) of Canada and 25-year-old Dutch-kickboxing phenom Jason "Psycho" Wilnis (28-6-1, 7 KO), currently ranked No. 2.

Marcus made his first title defense at GLORY 30 Los Angeles in June, defeating Dustin Jacoby via unanimous decision. Also picking up a win on the June fight card, Wilnis claimed his shot at the belt by earning a majority decision victory over Joe Schilling.

The organization's Super Bantamweight Grand Prix also continues on GLORY 33 SuperFight Series when former Bellator MMA strawweight champion Zoila "Warrior Princess" Frausto (4-0, 2 KO) meets dangerous German boxer Daniela Graf (23-4-1, 2 KO).

What a sad decline for Glory. The 16 fighter HW Grand Slam and the Tokyo 8-man 65 kg tournament had me really excited for their future, but they adopted the Zuffa milk-it-for-all-its-worth approach

Hesdy Gerges (49-15-1, 23 KO's) and Guto Inocente (31-7, 17 KO's) were  announced as the co-headline fighters for GLORY 33 NEW JERSEY, which takes place in Trenton, New Jersey next month.

Also, Former featherweight champion Serhiy Adamchuk (33-6, 16 KO's) is wasting no time in his campaign to win back the featherweight title he lost to Gabriel Varga at GLORY 32 VIRGINIA. The plucky Ukranian is taking part in the GLORY 33 NEW JERSEY Featherweight Contender Tournament and, if he can win two fights in one night, will get a title shot.

Adamchuk has established a reputation for an intelligent and very tricky fighting style in his six appearances under the GLORY banner. In the GLORY 33 tournament semi-finals he will meet an equally tricky fighter in the form of Giga Chikadze (35-4, 21 KO's), a karate black-belt who now trains under former Chute Boxe head coach Rafael Cordeiro at the renowned Kings MMA gym in Huntington Beach, California.

The other semi-final bracket has South Korean veteran Chibin Lim against Canadian debutant Matt Embree. Both those fighters are no stranger to the championship level either – Embree is a WBC Muay Thai champion – and the final will be a tough test for whichever two fighters make it.

KUNLUN is the pinnacle sport. I wouldnt want to ruin my palette watching sub-par GLORY.
