Chael Sonnen vs. Tito Ortiz headlines Bellator 170 on January 21 in Inglewood, California

Im actually interested to see who can out wrestle the other...

Should be a good wrestling clinic like Shields vs hendo was.

I think Tito maybe wins this. He has been talking like it's his last fight but we will see.

Hope it's not his last fight. Still some interesting fights for him in Bellator. He does have a ton of career injuries though, so may be smart of him to call it quits soon.

The second main card fight announced for "Bellator 170: Ortiz vs. Sonnen" at The Forum on January 21, 2017 features the Bellator MMA debut of Los Angeleno Ralek Gracie (3-0), who will meet Hisaki Kato (7-2) in a middleweight bout.

At only 22, Ralek made his MMA debut in Japan, where he defeated his opponent, Kastuyori Shibata with a devastating armbar. Nearly a year later, Ralek returned to Japan for his second MMA fight and again was victorious, this time defeating Gahdzhiev Alavutdin with an armbar from the mount. These two bouts led to a highly anticipated matchup with Kazushi Sakuraba, where again the Los Angeles native left "The Land of the Rising Sun" with the victory. That was the last time Ralek would fight under MMA rules, until now. Ralek is the third son of Rorion, the nephew of Royce, Rickson, and Royler Gracie and received his black belt from Grand Master Helio Gracie. The Gracie Family is famous for putting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on the map around the globe.

Since joining the Bellator MMA roster, you would be hard-pressed to find a fighter who has been involved in more exciting matchups than Hisaki Kato. Nicknamed "The Japanese Mouseketeer," the 34-year-old French-Japanese competitor has finished Joe Schilling on two separate occasions, and was involved in what many called a "Round of the Year" candidate during his lone Bellator MMA loss against Melvin Manhoef in 2015. Welterweight showdown pitting Paul Daley (38-14-2) against Brennan Ward (14-4) has been added to the main card

A 54-fight veteran of MMA Daley will now prepare to take on surging superstar Brennan Ward. A former member of the British Army, the 33-year-old "Semtex" competed for multiple promotions including Strikeforce and UFC before joining the Bellator MMA fray in 2012. Since then, Daley has made five appearances under the direction of the Scott Coker-led promotion, tallying four wins and a trio of fantastic knockouts. Hailing from Nottingham, England, the British phenom has recorded victories in nine of his last 11 bouts, and took current welterweight champion Douglas Lima to the limit in their last meeting. The former Cage Rage Welterweight Champion is known for his ruthless power and innate ability to end fights early, as 30 of his 38 career wins have resulted in a finish.

Ward enters the contest following a brutal knockout blow that he delivered just 1:26 into his bout with Saad Awad at "Bellator 163: McGeary vs. Davis." The win was Ward's ninth under the direction of Bellator MMA and fifth of his last six fights, dating back to 2015. A native of New London, Conn., "Irish" Ward seems to always deliver in front of his hometown fans at Mohegan Sun Arena, collecting five victories inside the venue, including four knockouts. Now, Ward takes his talents out West. The former NCAA All-American is widely regarded as one of the most feared brawlers in the welterweight division, as the 28-year-old has finished his opponent in 13 of his 14 career victories. Ward is now slated to tangle with another feared striker in Daley in a bout that hardcore fight fans won't want to miss.

A featherweight showdown pitting Georgi Karakhanyan (26-6-1) against Emmanuel Sanchez (13-3) has been added to the main card

Karakhanyan delivered one of the most spectacular performances of his 10-year career at "Bellator 160: Henderson vs. Pitbull," when he knocked out Bubba Jenkins just 53 seconds into the contest. Karakhanyan then followed that victory up with another early stoppage, ending Kirill Medvedovsky's evening via TKO just 3:40 into the first frame at "Bellator 164: Koreshkov vs. Lima 2." With 20 of his 26 career wins coming by way of stoppage, "Insane" looks to add to that total and finish "El Matador," something nobody has been able to accomplish.

"El Matador" will be making his eighth appearance under the Bellator MMA banner, a promotion with which the 26-year-old has had much success to date. A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he trains at the famed Roufusport gym, Sanchez is riding a recent string of success, having won nine of his last 11 contests, including three of the past four. Six of Sanchez's 13 career victories have come by way of knockout or submission, with five of the finishes ending in the opening frame. Sanchez was supposed to compete against A.J. McKee at "Bellator 167: Caldwell vs. Taimanglo 2," but was forced out of the bout after suffering multiple muscle strains during training. Since signing with Bellator MMA, "El Matador" has competed against a who's who of talent, facing names the likes of: Pat Curran, Justin Lawrence, Henry Corrales, and Daniel Weichel.

Bellator announce that Chinzo Machida (4-2), Henry Corrales (12-3), and Guilherme "Bomba" (8-3) will all compete on January 21, 2017 preliminary card inside The Forum in Los Angeles, Calif.

On the heels of his spectacular first-round TKO of Mario Navarro during his promotional debut at "Bellator 160: Henderson vs. 'Pitbull,'" the elder brother of Lyoto Machida returns to action close to where he calls home. A winner of his last three contests, Machida will now meet undefeated Jamar Ocampo (2-0).

Since signing with Bellator as an undefeated King of the Cage Champion in 2015, Corrales has faced Patricio "Pitbull," a former Bellator Featherweight titlist, as well as Daniel Straus, the current 145-pound kingpin. Add in the fact that "OK" also fought Emmanuel Sanchez and you have a murder's row in the division. Now, the 30-year-old sets his sights on Bollinger, who returns to the Scott Coker-led promotion following one fight in 2012 against Shahbulat Shamhalaev.

"Bomba" will step back into the Bellator MMA-fray after a rear-naked choke submission at "Bellator MMA: Dynamite 2" this past June. Briefly linked to Demi Lovato romantically, the Brazilian native trains alongside Jay Glazer at the top notch "Unbreakable - Performance Center" in Los Angeles. Standing opposite of "Bomba" will be John Mercurio (8-7), who hails from Huntington Beach, Calif.

"King" Casey, a Los Angeles native who's the son-in-law of Muhammad Ali, will meet 28-fight veteran Keith Berry (15-13) at middleweight. A Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Casey is a UFC and Strikeforce veteran and was featured on "The Ultimate Fighter" where he was coached by fellow "Bellator 170" fighter, Chael Sonnen.

Competing at heavyweight against Dave Cryer (11-2), May comes into Jan. 21 with six stoppages in eight victories as a professional. Also a UFC veteran, "The Outlaw" has competed against the likes of Derrick Lewis and Bellator MMA veteran Carl Seumanutafa since beginning his career in 2011.

I'd like to see Tito win as well, especially since it's his last fight. He took a tough fight to be his last one. Hope it's a good one either way.
