Good, very good. You made a nice tribute showing the HL's of his Pride reign and made it feel nice and calm like Fedor. Usually people focus on his brutality. It's good to see this side sometimes.

A thing of beauty Johan.
I literally teared up watching it. Serious. I'll never see an MMA fighter again that technically, mentally, physically, speed-wise, and power-wise is on a completely different level than anyone who has ever fought in MMA.
It chokes me up a bit. I've been around for most of the history of MMA. As Fedor gets closer to retirement, that may just be the last nail in the coffin for me. The type MMA he represents is all too quickly dying day by day right in front of my eyes. That's why I have been fighting for so long against the guys who are killing it. I do it out of desperation to save something I loved and the world should be exposed to.
My generation of sports fans have been lucky. I got to watch the entire careers of Wayne Gretzky and Michael Jordan. While Jordan played on a level that was 2-3 above anyone to this date... Gretzky played on a level that can't even be described.
Sport's Illustrated once said that Gretzky was the most under-paid athlete in professional sports when he was making $1M/year in the mid-80's. At the time Roger Clemens (maybe the best MLB pitcher ever) was making $6M a year. The article said that by that measure... based on Gretzky re-writing the NHL record book and 4 Stanley cups in a row... Wayne should be making $20 or $30M+ per season at the time. The said compared to baseball, Gretzky was like having Babe Ruth, Joe Dimagio, Mickey Mantle & Hank Aaron all in one player.
If you ever get a chance to go over the NHL record book Wayne has over 40 scoring records. He owns the whole offensive record book. He has a few season that were at and around the 200 point mark. To this day no one has come more close than about half that. The funny part is, he only shot on the net about a 3rd of the time he could have. He had many season where he had more assists than the next guys had total points. He made all the guys around him 50-60+ goal scorers which is unbelievable too.
Wayne Gretzky is not only the GOAT of hockey... he played a game on a level that no one else will ever be familiar with. Fedor Emelianeko is Wayne Gretzky to MMA, a once in a lifetime athlete never to be equaled.

I appreciate it guys. Fedor makes me very emotional and I tried to capture this in the tribute. I feel the same way Dag, when Fedor retires mma will lose a part of its soul. He´s truly the Gretzky and Jordan of mma. Luckily he´s the owner of M-1 and we will be able to follow his promotion grow. Maybe they can create someone similar to him.

Love the video dude What's the name of the first song?
Fedor exemplifies all that is good about the sport, and more so the character that an athlete should aspire to.
I forget the guy who said it (on linker), but something along the lines of
"ask a fan to tell you everything they love about MMA, they will describe Fedor"

You´re a true Fedor and mma fan. The song is called lost in Las Vegas by Two Steps from Hell.Deadarmour wrote:Love the video dude What's the name of the first song?

A certain nobody named Mario Lemieux had more points per game after his first retirement than gretzky and scored more goals per game than Gretzky did
