Jeff Monson is injured

Today from American Top Team in the Office of M-1 Global received a letter in which Jeff Monson apologizes, but under doctor's orders, he was forced to abandon in the M-1 Grand Prix 2013 and will do the operation.

Just before Jeff Monson was all the confirmation of his participation at the all the requests on the part of M-1 Global, and it was a big surprise. According to Monzón, he himself was ready to speak with an injury, but the doctor told him that this may lead to disability and end fighting career.

Now as a matter of urgency for fighter replacement is sought, and the Jeff promised that would come to Russia and will participate in all the promotions on the M-1 Grand Prix 2013 as well as immediately after recovery will speak at the following tournaments M-1 Challenge.

Sounded like it could be a career ending injury. Hopefully the surgery won't f*** up any of his tattoos.

Damn, rough luck for Monson. Hopefully he can get back to 100% fitness and continue fighting, if he wishes to do so.

If only we could get Abdurahimov or Razmadze as a replacement.

It´s time for Marcin Tybura to step in. He beat Komkin for the replacement spot and looked good doing it. Maybe they want him as backup if someone can´t fight in the semis.

Hope Monson gets well soon, the guy is a warrior.
