Even the shell of JLB will badly hurt Sergei.

I think Kharitonov would have a better chance against Aerts than he would against JLB.

I agree. Although Aerts could chop him down.

Sergei has a pretty good chance I think, just because the last time JLB had a good outing was 3 years ago. I'd love for JLB to prove me wrong, though, as I've always been a big fan of his.

I'm confident Sergei will beat JLB and make the Russian VDV look good.

What gives Sergei a chance is how JLB is, but he has a rock solid chin and Kharitonov isn't exactly lightning quick these days.

I always thought Sergei is better off sticking to MMA. His striking skills are worldclass by MMA standards, but he's never been at a competitive level in pure kickboxing.

This could go either way in my opinion; JLB hasn't looked good ib a while but Sergei's been pretty inconsistent as far as his (fledgling) kickboxing career is concerned.

Glory 10 Los Angeles September 28
The highlight here is a 4 man Middleweight tournament, featuring Joe Schilling vs. Stephen Wakeling and Artem Levin vs. Jason Wilnis in the semi-finals. Levin is the favorite here, and should be able to take this. Also on the card: K-1 legend Jerome Le Banner vs. Pride and Strikeforce veteran Sergei Kharitonov, and, in a tremendous fight for the hardcore fans, Robin van Roosmalen vs. Shemsi Beqiri. That one should be incredible. Add in Davit Kiria vs. Murthel Groenhart, Andy Ristie vs. Sanny Dahlbeck, Albert Kraus vs. Jordan Watson and a number of other quality fights and you have a great show. Full fight card here.

Although you won't get Kharitonov, you will get Petrosyan, which is a hell of a trade off.RussianTopTeam wrote:I wish this event took place in NYC instead

Bad news for fans of legendary kickboxer Jerome Le Banner who was scheduled to fight Sergei Kharitonov at GLORY 10 Los Angeles on September 28th in Los Angeles, Califorina, as Le Banner has pulled out of the fight due to a neck injury. It was announced today by GLORY that the main event for GLORY 10 of Le Banner vs. Kharitonov is officially off due to Le Banner's injury and that Kharitonov will fight on a future GLORY event instead.
Due to this change, Robin Van Roosmalen vs. Shemsi Beqiri have been bumped up to serve as the event's Main Event fight, with the fight between Davit Kiria and Murthel Groenhart moving to the co-main event slot of the evening. We wish JLB a speedy recovery and hope to see him in the ring again soon.

They need to do everything they can to KEEP him on this card.
And it seems like everyone has an upcoming fight scheduled besides Aerts and Bonjaksy.
And Remy is coming off a KO loss
