I'm really not confident in this Denver offense. Osweiler has great prototypical size but he's just making plays. Let the guy open up, he's got as much time as Peyton to learn Kubiak's offense, so if he's not grasping it, you're better off just handing the reigns back.

There's only so much that Denver defense can hold you too.

Arizona is clearly the best playing team in the league right now. Their defense has been on fire all season and their offense is an efficient machine. Favorites of the NFC, for sure.

Seattle has to do it the hard way, but I have been feeling they were my pick for a while.

I was going to go with Denver over Kansas City, but Denver is sort of a big question mark, and I could see the Chiefs capitalizing on it.

Chiefs are 24-1 on Vegas Insider. I'd say it sounds like a decent bet, especially because they wouldn't face New England until the AFC finals. At that time, they're just a couple upsets away. I don't even think them beating Denver would be an upset.

I see Seattle winning it, but they have to play all their games on the road with no bye. The home games and bye week are big advantages. Carolina very well may beat them, and I'd like the Chief's chances against Carolina better, should Carolina win the NFC.

I'd love to see Pitsburg upset New England, but I see New England going to another Superbowl, unfortunately (they're about the only team I can't stand, well them and the Raiders I guess).

That said, Green Bay has a fair chance to upset Carolina as well, imo.

Next week, Steelers vs Broncos and Patriots vs Chiefs, not the other way around.

I'm pulling for the Steelers, and the Broncos remain a question mark, but particularly with the amount of damage the Steelers took in this game, the Broncos have to be clear favorites now.

The Broncos lost to the Steelers just a few weeks ago, but the Broncos are coming in fresh, and the Steelers are coming in bruised and battered.

As for Chiefs-Patriots, I think I'm going to go with a Chief's upset here.

The Patriots are tough to beat, but the Chiefs have been playing amazingly.

It is partly that I don't like the Patriots much and like the Chiefs, but they are now on a 12-game winning streak and have been winning in pretty dominant fashion. They have a whole new test in front of them in the Patriots, but I'm smelling an upset.

For tomorrow, I still have Seattle and Green Bay, and Seattle is still my pick to win the NFC, although we'll be able to reevaluate where teams stand again after tomorrow.

My picks season is over. We pick each game throughout the year. I got 3rd out of 14 this year.

25 yard field goal miss by Minnesota. I think the percentage to hit that has to be around 95 percent or so. Crazy way to end the season.
