wsof and pancrase working together for wsof japan summer 2014 (src returns?)

during the prelims it was announced that wsof japan will go down in summer of 2014, along with sefo was a person representing pancrase...

Excellent news. I heard the Sandro fight was a one fight deal with Pancrase, though.

It'd be amazing to see guys like ISAO, Jon Shores, and Ishiwatari stateside. I felt Kawahara could've been a huge hit over here too. This might open up a legitimate flyweight division too. Vila, Robichaux, and possibly Campuzano paired up with Shimizu, Sunabe moving back up, and Atsushi Yamamoto would be awesome.

i have to think that yushin okami has to headline the japan event

Kawamura would be a good bounce back for Okami.

I'm figuring this will probably be at Differ Ariake. It'd be quite the statement if they can hold the show at Tokyo Dome Hall, though.

^ WSOF isn't fucking around, Adam. These guys are for real. Teaming up with Pancrase shows they are serious and ready to make serious waves worldwide, not just here on our continent. Okami should be on this card.

Pancrase is swapping full time to cage next year

Great to hear a WSOF/Pancrase partnership.  I hope Pancrase forgets the cage though.  Would love to see some cross-promotions in both the Pancrase ring with Pancrase rules (soccer kicks, knees,...) and the WSOF cage.

Shinsho Anzai, Rin Nakai, Takenori Sato, Akihiro Murayama, and Shintaro Ishiwatari are all decent too.

JZ vs Kobayashi and Alexis Vila vs Sunabe would be good matches.

Daisuke probably isn't likely. DEEP doesn't really share all too many fighters, although its possible since they did with Kitaoka.

alot of fighters want to fight in japan, they know that japan along with brasil were the mecca of the sport and imo will help wsof to grow
