Apology or not, racism is inexcusable, especially on a site called GLOBAL-MMA. FAR worse than the trolling we might've experienced in the past.

I wasn't giving him a pass. I don't know if he apologized. I was just trying to figure out why he is still here and Willie isn't.

I've been busy with finals this week and studying all last week, so I've kind of been out of the loop. The only thing I know about the incident is what was said ITT.

Johan and I have really been put in a bind here.

From what we witnessed on the forums it looked like Willie 'may' have started things by calling him handicapped and a fair bit more and then mmainamerica retaliated. Not sure if many here know this but IQ Wrestler/Jacob is a quadriplegic. So, that on it's own can't really fly here. Even if someone else starts something you just can't do that. It's equally as wrong. It's even more wrong for a member of the team. For both of them I'm saying. They both should be punished in my eyes. But, the aggressor needs some sort of additional punishment.

To be as fair as possible I asked Willie for any PM trail that showed mmainamerica attacking him with racial comments and whatever else might have gone down. I also wanted to try to put together a chronology of the events. Unfortunately Willie said he had deleted all the offending PM's.

So, now what do? We have nothing from Willie that would show us 'exactly' what went down. All we have is the posts on the forum. We want to stand behind Willie but we also can't ban someone for PM's that we haven't seen. I also think Willie is not innocent here due to what he said in the forums. It doesn't matter if Willie feels mmainamerica started.

So at this point... Johan and I don't really know what to do. Can you guys give us suggestions in light of the forum posts by each and no offending PM's to look at???

Oh ok. Well to be honest, I haven't really followed this stuff. I didn't know that Willie may have said some things to start with. I don't know. I really don't want to focus on this too much. I'd rather we just move on. Hopefully Willie comes back.

Willie needs to work on his temper. He gets into heated debates and starts calling people names just to try and win an argument on a forum, even against the team that he is on. I can understand if this is from a normal poster but a mod should at least present himself in a respectful manner to prevent the forum from receiving a bad image.

Like Dag said mmainamerica never posted offensive stuff against WILLIE on the forums. WILLIE on the other hand wrote this and that´s is not ok, especially for a representive of the site..

Slightly off topic though: Why was banning privileges taken from the mods? It's not a big deal and I've never had to ban hammer someone, and don't really plan on it unless it's the only solution, but it feels like I'm being restricted to a degree.

With many of us living in different time zones, what do we do in an instance when a clear ban is need and an admin isn't online?

For example, what if someone is porn spamming the site at a time when guys like me, backdoor, or Audax is online and you and Dag aren't?

Sure we can delete threads/posts and such but there's no real way to stop it if someone keeps doing it. It could turn into an ugly game of cat and mouse.

Has there ever been any problem with that type of trolling here? It seems like for the most part, people with high class come here. I don't care about ban powers. I would have never used them except in the hypothetic scenario like that, Adam. I'm just wondering if some absolute weirdos have come here doing that stuff in the past.

It was like that in beginning because that's what KTT and Cameldog does but they've given up long ago.

Willie deleting the PM's is ultra fishy, though. I just gave him the benefit of the doubt due to him never being the lying type but there's no reason to delete evidence when you clearly want the dude gone.

I hope Willie comes back because he's always been a good team member when it comes down to it, even if he's a bit aggressive at times. But all that has come to light in recent days has unfortunately put him in the wrong.

Maybe you're thinking of my PM I had put up that paraphrased WILLIE, I was going to send that to mmainamerica when intending to temp ban him but shared it here instead when I noticed ban powers gone.

MR.WILLIE is my boy so I took things here in HQ on face value but yeah no evidence = no dice. Hopefully these guys can learn to just not interact.
