serious question, why do the russians hate putin?

I don't really know what Putin's political views are other than his very pro-russia view.

Putin is the man, a true patriot of the former USSR. He wants to keep it that way and rule with an iron fist. This is why people dislike him in my opinion. He refuses to step down from power and is always involved in politics to better his nation. When Medvedev was elected, Putin was in the shadows running shit for him.

I must admit I used to have a negative image of Putin but he´s seems to be good for the motherland.

I don't know where he stands on any issues but I respect a man who is a Blackbelt in Judo and is actually tough. Wimpy old fat or weak leaders just don't do it for me. It's like back in the day King's used to be out on the battlefield leading their men into war, and while I don't expect them to be on the field per say, it is good to see they at least understand true strength.
