Coker & Sakakibara have lunch - "Japan is sleeping MMA giant" for the right new org

‏Mr Sakakibara is dying to put another big-time Japanese organizations together. Coker had lunch with him and he attended Bellator on Saturday. They both agree Japan is a sleeping MMA giant for the right new company. This could be the rebirth of JMMA & real world cross promotion. Vadim & Fedor would approve.

Yeah I knew bellator was legit! !!

They already are fighter sharing with ksw and fight nights and have stated they'd be open to Co promotion in tournaments with m-1 ksw and whoever else.

They already brought stage entrances back to NA and are planning global themed mma events like the British invasion show in 2015.

If bellator can become companions with sakakibaras future org like strikeforce was with dream we could see mma on a global level cooperating like never before.

Mma can unite and the odd man out will be zuffa.

If bellator and Viacom see an oppurtunity to make money and expand the company while doing it they will go full force and nothing will stop them.

I think Glory bought the Dream brand but hopefully it´s for sale since Glory doesn´t use it. Great name.

Same thing for pride ufc basically has it for video library never uses it otherwise.

The name is actually important for a Japanese promotion. The fans want something bigger than life like PRIDE or DREAM.

Would love to see it.  Really hope Sak gets back in the JMMA business and brings back a PRIDE 2.0 org. and works with Coker.  MMA can be great again. Glory would be a good partner for this as well.

Igf is cool and anything sakakibara gets behind will undoubtedly a contender.

I think ufc saw this happening hence their partnership with pancrase and shooto and futile attempts at expansion into Japan.

But monopoly don't work from outsiders if anyone's going to bring glory back to jmma it will be a domestic name.

Once established bringing on Co promotion the way pride and ufc should have been in late 90s-early 2000s.

He has the vision though which is critical. He built PRIDE. I think he would be the one who could revive JMMA....Would love to see it.
