K-1 has closed a deal with TV partner HUNAN TV and will start doing shows:
January 1 China vs USA
Febuary 1 China vs JAPAN
March 28 China vs Thailand
All shows will consist of international super fights.

Hunan TV is currently China's second most-watched channel. This could be K-1s way back to the top

K1 should definitely be gunning for the One FC of kickboxing and lock down the Asian market. Glory has been neglecting that region for a bit now.

Hope they get some money from deal and from money they buy some heavyweights.

This is exactly what I said you need to do if you want China to like you. They LOVE "China vs ___" events. Just last month Wulinfeng had another China vs America event. They are nationalistic when it comes to sports and competitive about it too. They want to see their own beating the Foreigners.

I´m not a big fan of mismatches but it would be a smart move to give the chinese fighters low tier americans for the first event. The masses would love to see their countrymen successful.

Today K-1 Global is pleased to announce that beginning January 1st, 2015 K-1 will be working with multiple television outlets in China to present ten live events throughout the year. The first event, scheduled for January 1st in the Golden Eagle Culture City, Changsha, China will featuring China vs. the USA. The three hour long event will be broadcast live at 20:00 local time and will be carried on the following television networks; Hunan TV, Hebei TV, Hubei TV, JiangXi TV, Anhui TV,Chongqing TV, Guangdong TV, Hainan TV, Qinghai TV.

This groundbreaking deal will see K-1 programming seen all throughout China throughout 2015.

Two other events have been scheduled, including a February 1st event featuring China vs. Japan and a March 28th event featuring China vs. Thailand. All of the these events will include a five-fight series between the nations as well as super fights. The year 2015 will also be the year where K-1 crowns champions across multiple weight-classes.
