Funny how Arlovski has gone from washout to top 10

just amazed how good AA looks not only that but few years ago people were like he sucks this and that and they used him to piss all over Fedors record.

Arlovski and Hunt still kicking ass makes Fedor look impressive (although hunt looked bad last fight but still)

he got his shit together. he did suck a few years ago.

His boxing is much tighter tho his jaw is susceptible to the big punches but hes lookin as good as he ever has.

What's even funnier is that in 2009 and 2010, when people brought up the Arlovski win, Dana would just say he's past his prime. Then again, look at the UFC Heavyweights in 2015. Werdum, Arlovski, Hunt, Barnett, and Cro Cop.

Travis Browne fucking sucks so bad. What has that guy EVER done except illegally elbow people in the back of the head? Literally the worst athlete I have ever seen and Rogan is talking about his "movement" being great. lol wtf jesus.

LOL remember a few years ago dana's "new breed heavyweight" athlete fetish. Well just look at the HW division now lol funny thing someone forgot to tell dana that athletes are useless if they can't take a strike.

UFC has a problem with heavyweight because it seems like all their up and comers haven't shined other than Miocic. Browne, Lewis, Schaub, and Mitrione haven't taken that next step and have largely been stuck as gatekeepers. If it wasn't for the stars of days gone by, the heavyweight division would be atrocious.

It's still atrocious.

Arlovski, Hunt, Barnett, and Cro Cop are as much gatekeepers as the rest of those guys and they're still all one vicious KO away from Joe Rogan asking them in a post-fight interview if they want to retire. Werdum probably too before long. It's just that the nostalgia factor makes it more entertaining to see them win than the rest of those guys, and especially when it's against those up and comers. That the old guys are all characters makes them more entertaining too. Besides Mitrione, them other guys either have no personality or are total douche-bros.

I always remember when Roy Nelson said that any heavyweight can knock out any heavyweight. That is how the heavyweight division works. It's who lands the knockout first. That is how these old guys can still hang around and age together in the heavyweight division.

Arlovski is past prime and not close as good as when he fought Fedor. This says alot about the competition in Ultimate FC.

Sergei Kharitonov should come in and win a few fights at HW in Ufc, take the title with a savage ko, then disappear with the belt, only to be seen in m1 again a month later.

though I wouldnt say he's in his physical prime when he was smashing up ben rothwell in affliction but he's not fallen off that badly compared to other fighters.

Arlovski was careless and a bit sloppy in his last fight and almost got knocked out because of it. Zuffa wants people to think Arlovski got better but it´s just the UFC that isn´t very good.

Even before the Arlovski-Travis Browne fight, I thought Sergei vs Browne would be a great fight.
