ROAD FC plans to host 1 Billion Won (about $840,000 USD) winner-takes-all tournament in the second half of 2016.

ROAD FC has a proud history of tournaments which have created ROAD FC Champions, and the 1 Billion Won Tournament will be no different.  ROAD FC would like to have the best MMA fighters in the world participate in this landmark, high-stakes tournament.  While the specifics are still in planning mode, this will not be a Heavyweight tournament.  ROAD FC is looking towards the lighter divisions which are stacked with talent, seriously considering the Bantamweight or Lightweight division.  The ROAD FC 1 Billion Won Tournament is expected to take place in the second half of 2016.

I'm sure there is going to be a lot of fighters from different organizations trying to get in on this tournament with this money even Ben Henderson and Aljamain Sterling who are free agents now.

That is huge money. Many fighters are definitely going to want in on this tournament.  Will be great to see.  I wonder how they are funding this.

So is the winner getting that, or is that spread across all the participants?  8-man, 16-man tournament?  I haven't seen the details.

I think it is just for the winner. Winner takes all tournament. It should be 16 man tournament for this amount of money but not sure.

The 10k will have to fight about 80 and half times to get that much . now math is not my strongest suit so i might be off by 10 or 20 .

i was close  shows the huge pay gap and they still wonder why guys like fedor shinya bibiano joacahim won't join the ufc .

They should just use the money to sign some new talent.
