White revealed that the decision was made by the promotion after McGregor informed UFC officials that he would not participate in any promotional activities, including a commercial shoot and press conferences. The UFC is currently working on a new main event for the card, which will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Other bouts currently set for the event include two title fights, with Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar battling for the interim featherweight title, and Miesha Tate defending her UFC women's bantamweight crown against Amanda Nunes. wrote:

It's great. The ufc has been losing fighters to other companies and have lost many of their big, overrated stars. I'm just sitting back eating popcorn and laughing at the whole time.

I don't like Connor but I am glad he is pushing the salaries up and making the fighters realize they have the power, not the ufc. They all need to test the free agent market.

Sounds like he may have wanted more money as already posted here but that is being denied. Will see how long he stays retired or if he does stay retired.
