Ok, Bellator is an American promotion. What's with this Americanization bullshit? Also, Karakhanyan/Jenkins II was likely put on he prelims to get people to watch and Karakhanyan was on a two fight losing streak. Sure, it was against Weichel and Curran but two losses still is tough.

Nice finishes on the under card but the main event was really disappointing.

Henderson was lucky that Pitbull got injured, because he was losing that fight.

Regardless of who wins the LW title, Pitbull should get a chance at the winner. Or perhaps at least get to fight the loser for a chance at the title down the line. They have a built in storyline with him regardless of if it's Benson or Chandler.

Benson broke Pitbull's leg by checking his kick. After what happened to Anderson I would think guys would either not use the inside leg kick when fighting in opposite stances (orthodox vs southpaw) or set it up with a punch first or only throw it when a guy is stepping forward. It's not a particularly powerful kick (like the outside leg kick) so it's really not worth the risk in my view. Ernesto Hoost used the methods I mentioned above to use his low kicks so this kind of thing didn't happen to him.

Its an American company.......bjorn had his chance and floundered now Bellator is steadily growing and getting respect.

Bellator was cool when tourneys started but the quality of fighters diminished as well as keeping people not fighting for way too long.

Cokers version does tournaments when they matter.....plus coker helped jmma get going and is continuing to support Rizin.Sakakibara specifically picked coker to help....

In bjorns version we would never see these top ranked big names going to Bellator its just fact that cokers version is better and more successful.

Main event was lackluster but the main card was really good.

Derek anderson vs awaad was an absolute war....striking grappling it was excellent every round i wish it was a 5 rounder.

Bubba got ktfo faster then he got choked out the first....wow.

Aj mckee is fun to watch and a super hot prospect great finish.

Chinzo looked good great finish.


Anyone claiming that main card sucked either oy watched the main or is an outright hater.

Yeah bellator is getting worse and worse.......super high end free agents,record revenue and broadcasting deals,some of the hottest prospects in mma....

^Yup, I am more interested in Bellator now than I have ever been. They are getting some great fighters and the fighters they already had are showing themselves to be legit (MMA fans already knew this, but ufc only fans didn't).

Anderson/Awad is one of those fights that shows every aspect of MMA at it's finest. Good striking, a war, great grappling, reversals on the ground, and good sweeps.
