UFC vet Dongi Yang jumps ship, joins Gleamon FC

Korea-based Gleamon Fighting Championship announced at its first event that UFC veteran Dongi “The Ox” Yang has been released from his contract and will debut for the promotion in the spring at Gleamon FC 2

Yang was recently on his second stint and in his only appearance he took on Jake Collier at UFC Seoul. The Korean brawler destroyed him with punches in the second round in a back and forth slobberknocker.

Since then, he has been inactive and asked the UFC to terminate his contract in which they obliged. His desire to return to his home country and fight for the new startup promotion led to his decision to leave.

Therefore, he will likely be the main event for Gleamon FC 2 in May but his opponent is undetermined at the moment.
