Dongi Yang, Seung Hwan Bang, and Jong Man Kim returns to MMA in new promotion, TOP FC

TOP Fighting Championship has been established by Korean Top Team Head Coach Ha DongJin. The promotion’s first event will take place on June 29, 2013 in KBS’ 88 Gymnasium in Seoul South Korea.

Korean Top Team based in Seoul has produced international players such as “Korean Zombie” Jung ChanSung, “The Ox” Yang Dongi, and Lim HyunGyu, among many other fighters. As such, the premium product producer Coach Ha DongJin with KTT partner Jeon ChanYeol have now set their sights on producing an MMA promotion to give more opportunities for fighters. The event will be broadcast live on the cable channel FX, Pandora TV, and live online via KM.

On the card will be the return to action of Yang Dongi, and a bout between 양해준 “Hungry” Yang HaeJun and 김두환 Kim DooHwan. The Ox’s opponent hasn’t been announced, but following his stint in the UFC, an opponent of some level will be needed to match him. “Hungry” Yang has offered up exciting fights across multiple promotions, and his addition to the card is valuable. He’ll be facing 3-1 Kim DooHwan who just fought Mohamed Ali in Jordan. Also on the card will be the long awaited return of former DEEP Lightweight Champion, Seung Hwan Bang and South Korean MMA Veteran, Jong Man Kim. Their opponents will also be announced in the coming weeks.
