Mir says that Bellator deal is non-exclusive (he wants Fedor first) + may compete in RIZIN 2018 tourney

Great to see he signed non-exclusive to Bellator and may fight in Rizin! Would love to see that.

That fight would make sense. I read the rumor so we'll see if this gets announced soon.

I really like what Bellator is becoming and hope they stay on this track.
I am looking forward to upcoming Bellator events.
Frank Mir is nice addition to Bellator.
I hope that Fedor vs. Mir does not happen because Fedor is totally out of prime and it is embarrassment that guys like Mitrione and Mir who where not good enough to give a towel to Fedor are building their careers on Fedor's name.
Some of you will say that Mir is out of prime too but I do not agree.
I do not say that Frank Mir is 100% on top of his game now but he is still very good and I thnik he will do very good in his next fights while Fedor is for retirement.
Some will say but Fedor just had bad luck in last fight and I am writing him off right away.
When Fedor announced comeback I told that imo Fedor looked out of prime in his last fights and that I am afraid comeback will go wrong.
I thnik I will make thread where I analyze prime and out of prime Fedor.
I saw this pattern too many times. One time is bad luck, than bad day, third time lack of confidence and so on... and only safe thing is way down.
I think Bellator should do HW gp
for example:
Minakov (if he is back) vs. Matt Mitrione
Sergei Kharitonov vs. Frank Mir
Roy Nelson vs. Cheick Kongo
Fedor Emelianenko vs. Bobby Lashley

I like the Kharitonov vs. Mir fight even more or even Lashley vs. Mir.

I agree. I think Fedor is done. He CAN win fights still if he lands but he is a shell of his former self. I was willing to think he fought sloppy and underestimated Maldonado or it was bad luck he got caught, but now he got KO'd by Mitrione as well, in a minute. The two worst performances of his career have been his last two fights (the lowest level of competition he has lost to and the most brutal damage) and he turns 41 soon. Even training in Holland didn't help his striking this time. I thought he looked slower. I don't want to see him against anyone with KO power. Maybe throw him up against a grappler or something. Maybe a Gracie, just for the name value.
