Would be nice if they could even get a few of those fighters. It would really improve their stagnant LHW division. I agree, they do need improvement there. Narkun alone would be a huge signing for anyone coming off his win over Mamed.

I definitely agree. Bellator's Light Heavyweight Division is barren at this point and they need more signings. The list isn't bad but I think Zayats might be focused on Middleweight now as he just fought there.

Agreed, it is their worst division, aside from WMMA.

^^ their light heavy weight division does need a boost if you think about it the light heavy weight division hasn't been glamorous for years hell the ufc light heavy weight division isn't all that great either.
The champion will retire next year and only got the belt due to the previous champion screwing up
Then the rest are guys past their primes one dimensional or always injured.
Compare that to the light heavy weights of the early to the mid 2000s

Yeah, I wonder why so many promotions struggle with LHW and HW divisions. There is just never enough big men to go around like Pride had in their hey day. The injuries always hurt too due to the damage the bigger fighters can inflict.
The hey day for LHW and HW was when Pride was still around, the years you mentioned.

^^ i think it might also do with the fact that there isn't much money only 10% can make a living from it.
Also like boxing is it also like the 80s where the lighter weight classes are the glamour divisions and that the heavier division enjoyed in the 70s.
The same seems to be happening in mma in the 2000s the popular weight division where the 205lbs 265lbs divisions where as now majority of talked of about fighters are in the lighter divisions.
I will add mma is especially the ufc is in the shit talking shit era.

Do people also think that with guys like wanderlei Silva who is a small light heavy weight in that he didnyh worry about cutting a lot of weight and just had to concentrate on training and fighting?
Fedor he only took mma up to feed his family.

True, it could be due to some of that as well. There are some fighters in Russia and Eastern Europe at these weight classes which the bigger orgs. should be potentially signing more.

Not sure if that has to do with it or not.

Still it would be great to see another golden era of heavyweights and light heavy weights.
Just think the next heavy weight goat is probably lives in a small town and trains out of a small unknown gym.
