Rolles Gracie, Igor Gracie, Gregor Gracie added to ONE FC 5 in August

Three members of the legendary Gracie family have been added to "ONE FC 5: Pride of a Nation" next month.

The promotion late Thursday announced that Rolles Gracie, Igor Gracie and Gregor Gracie all will compete on its next show, which takes place Aug. 31 at Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines, and the event streams online in North America. It's the fifth show for the Singapore-based promotion, which launched in 2011.

Rolles Gracie (6-1) meets Tony Bonello (16-1-1); Igor Gracie (5-2) faces Jung Hwan Cha (8-6); and Gregor Gracie (6-2) takes on Nicholas Mann (4-1). Rolles and Igor are brothers; Gregor is their half brother. All three are students of Renzo Gracie in New York.

Rolles Gracie in February stopped Bob Sapp at ONE FC 2 when Sapp tapped out to strikes. It was Rolles' third straight win since a loss to Joey Beltran in his lone UFC fight at UFC 109. Bonello has not fought since a February 2010 King of the Cage victory. That fight got him back in the win column after his first career loss, which came in June 2008 to Murilo "Ninja" Rua in EliteXC.

Igor Gracie has put together a four-fight win streak, all by submission. In March, he picked up a 44-second win at an event in Brazil, his first pro fight in his native country. Cha, whose resume includes fights with Dong Hyun Kim, George Sotiropoulos and Ryo Chonan, in March was submitted by Roan Carneiro at an event in South Korea.

Gregor Gracie had his four-fight win streak snapped in June when he dropped a unanimous decision to Adam Kayoon at ONE FC 4 in Malaysia. This past September, he went the distance for the first time after five submission wins to beat Seok Mo Kim at ONE FC 1. Since a loss in the first fight of his pro career, Mann has won four straight, including an April win in the Philippines.

"All three of my students understand that ONE FC in Manila will be the largest MMA event in the history of the Philippines. They are embracing this experience wholeheartedly and are training exceptionally hard to achieve victory in front of 16,500 fans. The fans in Manila will get the chance to see the next generation of the Gracie family dominate the world of MMA once again."

In the ONE FC 5 headliner, DREAM bantamweight champion Bibiano Fernandes (11-3) takes on Austrialian CFC titleholder Gustavo Falciroli (12-3-2). ONE FC 5 also features heavyweights Andrei Arlovski (17-9) vs. Soa Palelei (17-3) and lightweight Jens Pulver (26-16-1) vs. Eric Kelly (7-0). DREAM lightweight champ Shinya Aoki (30-6-1) also is expected to compete on the card.
