After successful MMA debut, K-1 champ sees all of possible opponents docking him
Wed Aug 29, 2012 2:41 pm
2008 K-1 World GP in Fukuoka champ, Ewerton Teixeira (11-3 kickboxing, 1-0 MMA) successfully debuted on MMA, knocking out Raul Bazane on Champions Fight. Since them, the talented striker has been finding some troubles to fight any heavyweight willing to fight him.
According to people close to the fighter, Ewerton had a definite opponent, but after his KO win, the guy simply disappeared and stopped answering to Ewerton’s calls.
Now, the Kyokushin Karate blackbelt and Junior Dos Santos sparring keeps waiting for a brave enough heavyweight to enter on the ring and fight him.
Ewerton has wins in kickboxing over some great fighters like Jerome LeBanner, Musashi and Errol Zimmerman.

Agree, a fighter like Ewerton would be perfect in the KSW or M-1 ring.MR.WILLIE wrote:
