Mark Striegl remains unbeaten – wins at PXC 33
Sun Sep 02, 2012 7:29 pm
A few weeks back we did a feature on an up and coming fighter in Asia named Mark Striegl who is making quite the name for himself in Asia. Chalk another one up for the Filipino/American.
Striegl, who spent most of his life in Japan and Asia in general, took his unbeaten record up another notch to 11-0 this weekend when he submitted Robert Wusstig. The end came quick with Wusstig tapping to an arm lock slapped on by Striegl, just one minute into the match.
In what could be a wake up call to major promotions around the world, such as OneFC in Asia and other large promotions worldwide, Striegl is continually walking through opponents. In 11 fights, Striegl has finished his opponents in the first round in seven and only two have made it to the judges.
Striegl is quickly becoming one of Asia’s well known prospects and it would not come as a shock if he were offered a gig with a promotion that had much more competition for the fighter. Meanwhile, Striegl will continue fighting whoever they put in front of him, fine tuning his skills as he takes his game to the next level.
